When I grow up I'll turn the table
Garbage
Garbage
When I was a child I could wear whatever I wanted.
When I came to school others told me what I couldn't wear.
When I started going to (or skipped) highschool
I wanted what others found cool.
When I found out that it isn't cool, just pricey,
I swiped the blood from my nose
and started to wear what pissed them off. For sports.
Feeling so free that it scared them.
I wanted what others found cool.
When I found out that it isn't cool, just pricey,
I swiped the blood from my nose
and started to wear what pissed them off. For sports.
Feeling so free that it scared them.
Isn't that the privilege of youth, at least how it should be?
I wanna be the thorn in your eye forever.
Maybe this freedom is used and roughed up, so are
my clothes, maybe even our lives. But it's mine..
I wear it proudly on my sleeve. And I shoot what I love.
