A short list of fictions that Marlon Ferry's debut show loosely reminded me of:

Hellraiser - Alien - Raised by Wolves - Equilibrium - The Cell - Pitch Black

When I first made contact with Marlon Ferry's Creatures at Neo.Fashion 23 my implanted Scan-o-Cult (I prefer to nickname her 'The Mindfucker') showed ''Alien'/1979 by Ridley Scott, Bolaji Badejo or the 'Man in the Suit''. Sure, evaporated quote but instantly shaping as visual deduction.

That's the nice thing with Graduate Shows (and I surely feel this for our upcoming coverage of Neo.Fashion 24) - It's good for meeting hopefully upcoming Designers and future clients for the Fashion Photographer. But it's even better for holding up the idea that a creative spark is expected to feed an enduring artistic flame in the future.

So one year later here we are, in a constantly abandoned ex-supermarket in Berlins glorious fading hood of Charlottenburg . Deep diving in the fog here they come for us - all of Marlon Ferry's beautiful Predators and Clerics like all the crazy dreams that an impressive horror flic has ever induced in our memory.

Which is an extremely good thing since it marks this step into the wilderness also as a strong piece of Show Fashion, delicate for international Artists to be worn in Clips, at Galas... . it's opening up a world. Despite included in the official program of 'We also do International Fashion!' of Berlin this was strictly invitational hot shit, not the regular kink.

High Fashion is healthy and exciting if it drapes regular persons in wild and desirable images. Here is a new hardline, highly appreciated.
